Overnight Children Camps
Our children’s camp offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for young horse lovers to immerse themselves in the world of horsemanship. Set on our beautiful academy grounds, the camp features a covered riding area, a refreshing swimming pool, and—most importantly—our beloved horses.
Campers receive both individualized instruction and group learning experiences, ensuring a well-rounded foundation in total horsemanship. From grooming and feeding to riding and stable management, each student will gain hands-on experience in every aspect of horse care. At El Gezira, we don’t just teach riding—we teach responsibility, confidence, and a lifelong love of horses in a safe, supportive environment.
Daily Camp Schedule
Campers look forward to full and exciting days with a schedule that includes, riding lessons, tack and horse care and inspection, a daily lecture which include, care of horses, medical needs, course design, jumping and dressage didactics, swiming and activities which ends each camp day.
We have specialized camps to suit the needs and abilities of our wide range of riders. Each camper is offered the opportunity to improve his riding and horsemanship skills while working towards a Certicate of Achievement. Find out more about our Certificate of Achievement Program.
Camp Accompaniments
Our camp academy includes a club house with two great rooms, three full bathrooms with showers, windows and porches overlooking green pastures, and two bunk rooms.
The El Gezira equestrian camp program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and excellent facilities to create an atmosphere where campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends.
Each camp will end with a Horse Show hosted by El Gezira Riding Academy. More on El Gezira's annual horse shows.
Summer Day Camp 2025

Please bring a printed copy of the completed forms with you when dropping your child off on the first day of camp.
